MLK Service Leaders Subgrantees
Through funding from the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), the MLK Service leaders have provided grants to community organizations to help mobilize more Americans to serve on the King Holiday and throughout the year. Service projects supported by the grants are aligned with the agency's strategic focus areas— assisting in disaster services, promoting economic opportunity, advancing education, encouraging environmental stewardship, improving healthy futures and supporting veterans and military families. The grantees below were selected based on geographic representation, how they address one or more CNCS focus areas, how they leverage private support, their impact in communities, and their opportunities to engage new and diverse groups.
