Grant Opportunities for MLK Day of Service

Do you have a great idea for a Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service project, but wondering how you might fund it? Join us for today's MLK Day webshop "Grant Opportunities: Is Your Project Eligible to Receive a Grant and What is the Process?", 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. EDT, to find out about available grants. Meet the national organizations that can make your project's funding a reality.

The webshop will cover:

·      each organizations sub-granting criteria
·      present the range of sub-grants available
·      explain how to access applications
·      review application deadlines.


The webshop will give attendees the opportunity to ask questions of representatives from each granting organization.

Introducing the National Grantees...

Six natonal service organizations were selected as MLK Day 2012 National Grantees and will make sub-grants available to non-profit and public entities (including schools) that plan projects for MLK Day. Please visit their websites to find out more about each organization and the MLK Day grants they have to offer.

Campus Compact is a national coalition of more than 1,100 college and university presidents - representing some 6 million students - dedicated to promoting community service, civic engagement, and service-learning in higher education. View the Campus Compact grant application.
